Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and PartnerRound about using partnerround.com. By creating an account or using the site, you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.

You must be at least 16. If you use the site for an organisation, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.

Give accurate details, keep your sign-in secure, and do not share your account: it is for one person. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

• PartnerRound is an independent practice tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to McKinsey & Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain & Company or any other firm it mentions.
• The simulations are our own recreations, built from publicly described formats. They are not the firms' real assessments, and your scores are not their scores.
• Mock processes, pass marks and mock offers are practice signals. Nothing here guarantees an interview, an offer or any other result.
• Feedback from the AI interviewer, coach and marking can be wrong. Use it alongside your own judgement.

During early access every feature is free. We may introduce paid plans, and we will tell you before anything you use starts to cost money.

When paid plans are available:

• Pro is billed monthly, every six months or yearly through Stripe, and renews automatically until you cancel.
• You can cancel at any time from your account page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for.
• Single simulations are one-off purchases and stay unlocked.
• If something you bought is not what you expected, tell us within 14 days and we will refund you in full.
• If prices change, we will tell you before your next renewal, and you can cancel before it.

Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by any of this.

Please do not:

• Break the law, or harass or harm anyone.
• Upload anything you do not have the right to share, or anything unlawful or harmful.
• Try to get into other people's accounts or data, or into our systems.
• Copy, scrape, republish or resell our cases, drills, lessons or tools.
• Reverse engineer the site, or use bots or scripts to drive it, including the AI features.
• Use the site to build a competing product.

What you submit stays yours: your CV, answers, messages and recordings. You let us store, process and transmit it, including through our AI and transcription providers, only so we can provide the service to you. We do not use it to train AI models. Deleting it or your account ends that permission, apart from copies we must keep by law.

The cases, drills, lessons, simulations, tools and software belong to PartnerRound or the people who licensed them to us. You may use them for your own interview preparation. Printables such as cheat sheets are for your personal use. Anything else needs our written permission.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

We keep improving the site, so features may change or be withdrawn. We work to keep it running but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. If we withdraw something you have paid for, we will refund the unused part.

You can stop using the site at any time, and delete your account from your account page or by asking us at [email protected]. Deleting it cancels any subscription straight away and ends access to anything you bought. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk, telling you why where we reasonably can. If we close your account through no fault of yours, we will refund any unused part of what you paid.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

Apart from that, we are not responsible for losses we could not reasonably have foreseen, for business losses, or for the outcome of any application or interview. Our total liability to you is limited to the greater of what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and £50.

Services we connect to, such as Google sign-in and Stripe, have their own terms, which apply when you use them.

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top, and tell you before a significant change takes effect. If you do not agree with a change, you can stop using the site and close your account.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts can hear disputes. If you live elsewhere in the UK or the EU, you keep the protections of your local consumer law and can bring a claim where you live.
