Why it works

Most preparation fails in the same predictable way

Candidates spend months reading and almost no time being tested under conditions like the real thing. PartnerRound flips that.

How most people prepare

With PartnerRound

  • Reading case books until the frameworks blur togetherLive cases where an AI interviewer interrupts and challenges you
  • Practising with a friend who cannot tell you what you missedScored feedback on structure, maths, judgement and communication
  • Guessing how McKinsey Solve is gradedA working simulation with both product and process scoring
  • Finding out you are slow at maths during the real interviewTimed drills that track your speed and accuracy over weeks

The AI interviewer

A case partner that has actually read the answer key

Every case in the library carries a private brief: the objective, the data, the intended structure, the maths with worked solutions, and the deliberate traps. The interviewer reasons from it, which is why it can tell you that your breakeven is wrong rather than nodding along.

Voice mode

Speak your structure out loud and hear the interviewer respond. The closest thing to the real room, in your browser.

It pushes back

The interviewer holds a private brief with the answer key, the data, and the traps, so it can challenge a wrong number instead of accepting it.

Scored on four dimensions

Structure, quantitative reasoning, business judgement and communication: graded separately, with the evidence quoted back to you.

Nordwind Airlines · 14:22 remaining
Passenger numbers are up 18%, but operating profit has fallen 40%. How would you approach this?
I'd split profit into revenue and cost before exploring either. Revenue is volume times price; cost I'd split fixed versus variable, then convert everything to a per-flight basis. Given volume is up, I'd start on the cost side.
Good, start there. Ground handling cost per flight went from €940 to €1,610. What does that tell you?
That's €670 more per flight. Across 178,000 flights, roughly €119m of extra annual cost, which is more than the entire €61m profit decline.
Correct, and worth pausing on. If that single line exceeds the total decline, what must be true elsewhere?
