Your brief
The Authority can fund one intervention a year and has to choose between three. Your job is to work out which one prevents deaths most cost-effectively, using only the evidence in the study.
How it runs
The same structure as the real research case, on one clock for both parts.
Investigation
Read the study and its exhibits, and drag the figures you need into your research journal. Every figure is true and about half change nothing, so collecting everything costs marks.Analysis
5 questions answered from your journal with an on-screen calculator. The study is closed by then.Report
Choose the chart, place the values and complete the recommendation from your journal and your own answers.Part 2: cases
3 short, self-contained cases with 6 questions between them, on the same clock.
