When the interviewer pushes back
Challenge is usually a test of composure, not a correction. Here is how to tell the difference.
Interviewers push back for two reasons: you made an error, or they want to see whether you fold. Treating every challenge as a correction makes you look unanchored; treating every challenge as a test makes you look stubborn. The move is to separate them out loud.
